BETC Worldwide global development director Guy Hayward joins KBS in global CEO role

Creative, advertising and marketing agency KBS (Krishenbaum Bond Senecal + Partners) has announced the appointment of Guy Hayward as global chief execuitve officer.

As global chief execuitve officer Hayward has been charged with overseeing KBS operations in New York, London, Los Angeles, Montreal, Toronto and Shanghai and helping the agency deliver on its mission to invent highly creative marketing firsts.

Lori Senecal, global executive chairman of KBS, said Hayward was the “ideal internationalist” to leverage the network’s growing footprint bringing a “strong global perspective and world class creativity and invention to our clients”.

Senecal added: “We are confident he will aggressively drive KBS to become the most inventive global agency as our growth continues around the world.”

Of the appointment Hayward said he was “thrilled” and that he loved “the energy and mission of KBS”.

“The agency produces truly seamless communications for its clients and now, with the recent global expansion, is able to do this on a global scale. Albion in London is the perfect European partner for the agency and the start-up in Shanghai is led by high-profile Chinese talent. It’s an incredibly exciting time for the agency, and I’m delighted to be a part of the team.”

Most recently Hayward served as global development director at BETC Worldwide taking responsibility for the BETC network in Paris, London and Brazil. In the mid-nineties he was part of Wieden+Kennedy’s early global growth leaving in 2009 to take on the role of chief execuitve officer at JWT UK.
