Energy company Shell has appointed Possible as its global digital agency.

Led by the Possible London office, the appointment starts with Shell’s corporate brand work and sees the agency assisting Shell to find new ways to reach and engage customers.

Malena Cutuli, global head of brand communications and capability at Shell, commented: “We selected Possible because they are a forward looking agency partner that can collaborate with us on new ways to reach our customer audience. They are uniquely positioned to help us engage in this fast moving, socially connected global world that we live in with offices worldwide and core strength in the digital space.”

Possible global chief executive, Shane Atchison, deemed Shell the “ideal client” and added that the agency was “looking forward to partnering with them on what we would like to call more of a movement than a journey”.

Possible won the account over four other competing agencies taking part in the review.

The agency has already begun taking over Shell’s digital work, with a major launch planned for early 2015.
