Golden Globes host launches Twitter campaign against vacuous red carpet questions
Golden Globes host Amy Peohler’s bid to bin soft lines of red carpet questioning by issuing a Twitter edict direct to interviewers urging them to pose more thoughtful questions to screen stars went unheeded by E! interviewers Giuliana Rancic and Ryan Seacrest.
Bored with vacuous lines of questioning directed at female red carpet strutters such as ‘What are you wearing’ the campaign aimed to dig a little deeper with through the #AskHerMore Smart Girls campaign.
Suggested alternative lines of questioning included; Who inspires you? What is your favorite book? What else would you like to achieve in your career? and what did you character teach you?
This provoked reams of discussion online but on the night traditional lines of questioning prevailed.
Not all is lost however with many tweeters determined to keep the campaign alive for future events.

Maybe next year since they're not hosting Amy & Tina could work the red carpet & ask all these #AskHerMore questions. I'd watch. @smrtgrls
