A quartet of famous figures have come together to narrate a new instructional video prepared by St John Ambulance designed to illustrate how to save a baby from choking.

The Chokeables features a voiceover enunciated by David Walliams, David Mitchell, Johnny Vegas and Sir John Hurt, by having the actors voice various inanimate objects which may cause babies to choke – a princess toy, pen lid, jelly baby and a peanut.

To clear such blockages medics recommend placing the baby face down on an adults thigh before delivering up to five back blows and up to five chest thrusts before calling an ambulance should the manoeuvres fail.
