Universal Network International appoints Nicoletta Gelli as senior VP of marketing

Universal Networks International, the international channels’ division of NBCUniversal International Television, has appointed Nicoletta Gelli to the newly created role of senior vice president, marketing, effective as of this week.

Based in London, Gelli will lead marketing and digital activity for Universal Networks International’s portfolio of pay-TV channels around the world including Universal Channel, Syfy, 13th Street, Studio Universal, E! Entertainment Television, DIVA and Telemundo.

“Gelli is a key appointment to Universal Networks International’s leadership team,” commented Lee Raftery, EVP marketing and communications. “Her extensive experience in driving the performance of a range of channels’ portfolios – via commercial savvy and innovative marketing – will be a tremendous asset to UNI as we invest in the on-going growth of our channels’ business.”

Prior to joining Universal Networks International Gelli led Brand Compass, the brand consultancy business she started in 2011. Before this she spent 13 years working with Disney Channels in a variety of roles including vice president brand marketing EMEA.
