Airbnb has partnered with Galeries Lafayette in Paris for its latest ‘A Night At…’ initiative which has already seen people sleep in a ‘pimped out’ KLM plane, a Waterstones bookshop and Ikea store.

The Airbnb activity is designed to unlock places around the world where it’s never before been possible to spend the night.

Ahead of its Winter Sale on 7 January 2015, the famous French department store is welcoming six people who leave comments on the Airbnb listing about why they should sleepover.

They will arrive the night before the sale and be given a private tour of the store, advice from a personal shopper, and a €200 voucher to spend in the sale the following morning.

The next morning, after sleeping in a bed under the infamous one hundred-year old Dome, they will get a typical French breakfast before hitting the sales.

Last month, Airbnb offered aviation enthusiasts a night’s sleep on a specially-fitted, grounded KLM Royal Dutch Airliner and in October teamed up with Waterstones to offer booklovers a night in the flagship branch in Piccadilly.
