Define Creative co-founder Matthew Briggs has joined Sun Branding Solutions as creative director.

Briggs will lead creative thinking for the packaging specialist, overseeing the integration of the group’s creative division in Bradford as well as combined projects with London arm Parker Williams.

Briggs co-founded creative design agency Define Creative in 2011, working with clients in the FMCG, charity and public sectors including Marks & Spencer, Monsoon and the NHS.

As creative director he will report to Jo Sarker, creative director of Parker Williams, and Paul Bean, managing director of Sun Branding Solutions.

Of the appointment Bean said: “Matthew has a wealth of creative knowledge under his belt, making him a perfect new addition to the team. He will help drive our Brandineering positioning and we’re looking forward to his input as we continue to ramp up our creative services and craft exciting packaging for some of the UK’s most well-known brands and private label retailers.”

Briggs added: “Sun Branding Solutions has unquestionable expertise, married with exceptional quality, in its creative output. Helping to drive that even further for an enviable client base will be both a challenge and an incredible opportunity. I’m looking forward to getting stuck in.”

Work for 2 Sisters, Delice de France and Aldi is also included in Briggs portfolio.
