Teviot opens Minneapolis office to service clients Regis Corporation & Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group
Design firm Teviot has expanded to open an office in Minneapolis in order to service clients Regis Corporation and the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group.
The office, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is the first to be opened in the country by the Edinburgh-headquartered design firm, which has also claimed to have trebled its turnover over the last four years to £3.5m.
Craig Hall, managing director of Teviot, said: “Over the last four years we’ve really taken a hard look at ourselves and bottomed out who we are as a business, what we want to be involved in and more importantly who with. This has helped us culturally create a great team working in the right atmosphere and attracted clients - win win. We appear to have built it and they came.”
He added the move to open in the US was “right” for the business as it aimed to meet its global aspirations.
“Our aspiration to ‘Fill the World with Oxytocin’ has led to the attraction of like-minded clients and provided opportunities to provide creative services to a wide array of markets and challenges. We are very proud of the hard work it has taken to create this expansion. We are now working with development agencies, and potential partners in the US who are keen to attract and promote business growth, which we hope will lead to other new business opportunities. It is a tribute to the creative industry in Scotland to be working with these large corps in the US and it shows we are capable of competing on a global scale.”
The agency also revealed that it had also hired 28 additional members of staff during its four years of growth.
