Why he is nominated: Brennan has started two successful companies at forefront of two of business' largest tectonic shifts - social media and artificial intelligence. His first company was the first social media marketing agency in the United States, Pandemic Labs. Pandemic was the muscle behind some of the largest and most awarded campaigns for the biggest brands in social - DirectTV, Marriott, Dunkin' Donuts, and more. In 2016 Pandemic was a member of the 5000.

Brennan's 2nd company, Cortex, is the first company to combine machine learning and AI to make humans better at making creative decisions - a self driving car for creativity. Almost two years old, Cortex is already empowering marketing teams at global organizations like Heineken, Jack Daniels, Marriott, and huge government agencies and political parties worldwide.

In addition to building two those two businesses who have led the charge in some of the fastest growing spaces in business, Brennan is a pillar in the startup community of Boston hosting and running events, playing co-founder matchmaker, and connecting startups with funding sources. Brennan is committed to building new things, breaking new ground, and building up the Boston community.
