Amazon is to release a new deal every ten minutes on Cyber Monday (1 December), having already smashed its Black Friday forecasts.

The e-commerce giant revealed it sold 64 items per second on Black Friday (28 November) as consumers raced to snatch up deals for products including the Kindle Fire, which was on sale for £99.

It launched 3,000 deals, for which it raked in sales for 5.5 million products, and now it has turned its focus to netting Cyber Monday shoppers.

Amazon has already kicked off its discounts ahead of Cyber Monday, with items such as LeapFrog toys, Sony 40-inch 1080p LED TVs and Nest Learning Thermotats already half price.

However, it will run exclusive deals for mobile app shoppers throughout Monday alone.

Mobile app deals will be released tomorrow, available on the Amazon app for for Android, iOS and Fire OS.

Black Friday, which fell on 28 November, saw riots break out in various stores across the UK as excitement over the discounts retailers were doling out reached fever pitch.
