Adidas scooped the Grand Prix at the Social Buzz Awards for its #allin Adidas campaign, while Twitter’s Bruce Daisley was named social media individual of the year.

The awards, which took place at the Marriott Grosvenor Square tonight, 27 November, saw Paddy Power win the Chairman’s Award.

James Whatley, social media director at Ogilvy & Mather and chairman of the group of 24 judges, said the company won the award because of its “incredible team effort, a fantastic body of work, and a commercial edge to its approach that outshone anything else in the competition”.

Headline sponsored by iomart, the Social Buzz Awards look to recognise and reward the best social media campaigns and strategies being produced by agencies and brands in the UK.

Of the Grand Prix campaign by We Are Social, judge Christian Purser, chief digital officer at M&C Saatchi Group, said: “An industry defining campaign that shows the power of well planned, well-conceived and well delivered social media at scale."

Other winners from the night included We Are Social for agency of the year, Sophie Mindell from TMW as community manager of the year and ao.com for best social media customer service strategy.

The full list of winners can be seen on the Social Buzz Awards website.
