The Open University extends Rapp’s remit into creative CRM

The Open University (OU) has appointed Rapp UK to its roster following a review of its UK marketing activity.

The appointment sees Rapp tasked with supporting the OU to drive engagement amongst prospects and improve its conversion to study.

With Rapp already handling the OU’s data planning and analytics and technology business the appointment extends the agency’s remit into creative CRM.

David Meadows, head of marketing communications, The Open University, commented: “The marriage between data and creative is crucial to driving our business. Having RAPP to manage our data, technology and conversion creative CRM ensures we do the right things and do things right.”

Marco Scognamiglio, CEO, Rapp UK, added: “As a data driven, creative business, we now sit at the heart of OU’s communications strategy. The OU offers a fantastic range of courses to people of all levels of education and I am delighted that we will continue to help drive their business.”

Rapp was responsible for the development of the OU’s strategic brand expression, creating a new look and feel for the distance learning and research university which will be adopted across its UK communications and advertising.
