Npower denies £10m creative account is up for review
Npower has declared rumours that its £10m ad account is up for review are “completely untrue”.
An Npower spokesperson denied that it was set to open up pitches for the account, which was appointed to McCann Manchester last year, after an article in Campaign reported that the utilities company was contacting agencies regarding its ad requirements.
When contacted by The Drum, the Npower spokesperson said “The story that’s appeared is factually incorrect - Npower is not putting our creative account up for review at all.
“Of course we speak to many agencies about ideas, but only ones on our marketing roster.”
Last year, McCann Manchester was tasked with launching Npower’s latest brand proposition.
