NSPCC has handed the PR account for its Letter from Santa fundraising project to Amaze as it looks to breathe new life into the 16-year old campaign.

The national PR brief, which was won via a four way competitive pitch following the charity’s new PR roster, was to reinvigorate the initiative and the NSPCC has already taken to LinkedIn to announce that Santa has joined the networking site to help recruit “copywriting elves”.

Ali Jeremy, NSPCC director of communications, said: “Amaze really demonstrated their creativity, coupled with a strategic approach to achieve cut through at a busy time of year. We’re looking forward to working with Amaze to raise vital funds for our ChildLine service, supporting vulnerable children across the UK.”

The Letter from Santa project asks parents for a donation of £5 to the NSPCC, and in return children will receive a personalised Letter from Santa with a festive story tailored to their age.
