British Airways to wish Americans a happy Thanksgiving with Ricky Gervais video
British Airways has revealed a special video starring Ricky Gervais, to be broadcast on long-haul flights in the run up to Thanksgiving (27 November).
Customers on long-haul flights between 22 and 27 November will be able to hear the special message from the comedian, which has also been unveiled on YouTube.
More than 5,000 turkey suppers will be served on flights to and from the USA for Thanksgiving, complete with all the trimmings, including a traditional pecan pie for First customers.
Richard D’Cruze, British Airways’ in-flight entertainment manager, said: “Great food and entertainment are some of the gifts we’re giving customers this Thanksgiving. We’re also delighted that comedy genius Ricky Gervais has recorded a special message for the occasion.”
A Thanksgiving special of ‘The Big Bang Theory’ will also be shown on British Airways flights.
