Yahoo Japan forms strategic partnership with Integral Ad Science
Yahoo Japan has formed a strategic partnership with Integral Ad Science as the digital media advertising intelligence platform takes its first step to move into the country.
The partnership has seen Integral Ad Science develop a localised brand safety product for Japan in collaboration with Yahoo, which has taken the complexity of the local language into account and can be applied to Yahoo Japan's premium DSP.
Bryan St. John, senior vice president international at Integral Ad Science explained that the partnership would allow the company to cater to the local marketplace in Japan and that the platform product could be customised depending on the specific needs encountered.
Integral Ad Science has said that it will open an office during the first three months of 2015 in Tokyo.
The news follows Yahoo's agreement to buy programmatic video platform, Brightroll for $640m.
