Food and beverage giant Nestle is looking to work with a partner to help drive forward its branded frozen and chilled food products subsidiary Davigel.

Nestle said it is “exploring strategic options” to develop the company which also provides ice-cream and solutions for out of home in Europe.

"This mainly involves identifying a partner to help Davigel in its next stage of growth while safeguarding the best interests of employees, customers and shareholders," the company said in a statement.

In February, Nestle said it was looking to sell Davigel for around €300m (£239m), as part of a drive to shave down its wide-ranging portfolio.
