Google has built a customised bus to take to the streets of Bangladesh as part of an outreach programme designed to teach college students about the internet.

The 3G-enabled coach has been kitted out with tech for its year-long mission, which will see thousands of students invited to climb aboard to try out various tools and web applications designed to help them start their own business.

Over 500,000 students from 500 college campuses are expected to benefit from the scheme, which includes short seminars on use of the Android operating system.

The public relations drive has already struck dividends with excited visitors posting pictures of the otherwise unremarkable bus as others clamour to be added to the vehicles itinerary.
