Cogent Elliott to create festive Facebook campaign for The Snowman

Cogent Eliiott has been appointed by Penguin to create a festive Facebook focussed social media campaign in support of The Snowman and The Snowdog over the holiday period.

The brief ties in with various brand events such as a Christmas campaign at intu Trafford Centre and audience engagement at UGC as well as a screening of both The Snowman and The Snowdog by Channel 4.

Penguin’s brand manager, Damian Treece, said: “Cogent demonstrated such passion for this work and our brands. The Snowman and The Snowdog is a cherished story in Penguin’s IP portfolio, we believe the campaign will have something for those who already know and love the book and animation, as well as serving to introduce new parents and children to its magic”.

Lucy Hudson, business unit director of Cogent London, added: “What a thrill to be working with such an iconic brand – I can’t wait to get started and can’t think of a better client to be working with over the Christmas period!”

Work has already begun on the campaign which will last to the end of the year.
