Go-Ahead reappoints OMD to £10m media planning and buying account

Go-Ahead has appointed OMD to its media planning and buying account for all its rail franchises.

OMD retained the £10m account following a competitive pitch process in which Arena Media and Mediacom also took part.

Gillian Singh, group marketing director, Go-Ahead Group, commented: “We are pleased to extend our relationship with OMD UK. With a history of great work together and some big ideas ahead, this is an exciting time for The Go-Ahead Group.”

OMD has worked with Go-Ahead since 2009. Partway through the media tender process Go-Ahead was awarded the combined franchise to run Thameslink Southern and Great Northern (TSGN) services on top of the existing London Midland and Southeastern routes.

Go-Ahead also operates a number of regional bus franchises in the UK.
