TalkSport has announced that radio broadcasters in fifteen countries have agreed to continue airing the show’s live Barclays Premier League, FA Cup and Capital One Cup commentary during the 2014/15 season.

TalkSport airs to an estimated 75m

As a result of the agreement, stations in Barbados, Botswana, Egypt, Jamaica, Kenya, Mauritius, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, South Sudan, Tanzania, UAE, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe will broadcast TalkSport’s exclusive coverage.

The deal ensures the show is broadcast in a total of 25 channels with TalkSport estimating that it now has over 75 million listeners worldwide - more people than live on the British Isles.

Scott Taunton, chief operating officer of UTV Media, said: “Over the last two years, TalkSport has developed a fantastic network of international broadcast and streaming partners to bring our exclusive Barclays Premier League commentary to fans.

“We expect to reach over 75 million listeners with TalkSport’s international output this season, creating exciting opportunities for editorial and commercial engagement.”

This comes after the radio channel announced a new monthly show featuring Alan Keyes and Andy Gray at the start of the 14/15 football season in August.
