National anti-bullying charity Ditch the Label has teamed with a raft of social media stars, including popular Vine maker Daz Black, for a new social media fundraising campaign called Ditch or Dare.

Launching on Wednesday (29 October) the campaign focuses on setting challenges and dares, and encouraging people to push themselves and face their fears.

The user can devise their own dares, graded according to difficulty level, and then share them across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or YouTube. Friends will then be encouraged to vote for the dares they would like the user to do the most.

Ditch the Label is asking users to donate £3 to vote for an easy dare, £10 for a medium and £20 for a hard.

At the end of the campaign, the votes will be tallied and the user will be presented with the top dare; the dares then have to be carried out and all the money raised will be donated to Ditch the Label.

Liam Hackett, founder of Ditch the Label said: “We wanted to come up with an innovate fundraising campaign idea that engaged with our key audience on the platforms they use most regularly in a fun and challenging way. Part of the idea is about encouraging people to face their fears and things that they find particularly challenging.”

The concept was designed and developed by Independents United, a London-based marketing agency.
