Former Elmwood group communications director Natalie Maher has joined Glasgow and London-based brand consultancy Good in the role of managing director.

At Elmwood, Maher was responsible for all internal and external marketing activity for the brand and design firm’s six studios worldwide. Prior to Elmwood she was communications director for the UK trade association for design, the Design Business Association (DBA), where she oversaw the Design Effectiveness Awards.

Keith Forbes, founding partner at Good, said of the appointment: “We’d been looking for someone to head up our London office and help us move to the next stage – and Natalie ticks all the boxes. She has an incredibly strong experience running a team and understands our honest and straight-talking culture.

“With her background at Elmwood and the DBA, she’s a great advocate for the effectiveness in branding which is so central to what we do at Good - a perfect fit. We could not be happier to have her alongside us, helping steer the business into its next phase of growth.”

Maher added that she was “looking forward to growing the London office and working with the team across both London and Glasgow”.

Maher’s appointment marks Good’s second senior management appointment in the capital as the agency prepares for growth in both offices.
