There are some things you don't make fun of - and top of the list right now is Ebola.

And they thought this was funny?

On Thursday morning CNN senior producer John Griffin Tweeted the photograph on the right of New Day anchors Chris Cuomo, Michaela Pereira, and Alisyn Camerota seemingly making fun of the terrifying disease.

The picture shows the anchors pretending to be scared about something, while two men dressed in medical gowns stand over them (one of whom is pointing a finger into Cuomo’s neck for some reason?). Although tweeted , the picture was not live on air..

Griffin deleted it promptly, but Inside Cable News grabbed the image for posterity.

The photograph seems especially tone-deaf, given the criticism of cable news as feeding hysteria over Ebola, said TV Newser. In a poll Twitter users voted 75-25 that the photo was in terrible taste.
