Nosey neighbours Mabel and Margaret are back in the latest Aunt Bessie's ad.

Created to encourage the public to “upgrade [their] roast chicken with Aunt Bessie’s Yorkshires”, the ad by VCCP launched during the X Factor on 11 October.

Hiding out in a bright pink and purple van, Margaret warns Mabel not to touch the pink button. However, the sight of a mum adding Yorkshire puddings to a weekday dinner sees Mabel so flustered she does push said button, ejecting both the nosey grannies into their neighbour’s lawn.

Alongside the advert, the TV campaign will feature new idents for ITV game show The Chase.

The idents which see Mabel and Margaret using updated equipment – such as a china cat spy-cam and a nodding dog radar – to spy on the family, will launch on Thursday 16 October, and will run on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
