Axis Animation wins Scottish Creative Awards Grand Prix with Union scooping 11 prizes including Chairman's Award

Axis Animation’s ‘Dead Island 2’ trailer for Deep Silver has scooped the Grand Prix at this year’s Scottish Creative Awards with Union’s ProjectScotland campaign clinching the coveted Chairman’s Award.

Union were the big winners of the night taking home no less than 11 awards including Press Advert, Radio Advert, Copywriting and, of course, the Chairman’s Award.

Stand and Whitespace tied winning seven awards a piece at the black-tie event held at the Glasgow Marriott last night (Thursday 9 October).

Media Scotland received two awards from the new categories run in conjunction with the Scottish Newspaper Society introduced to celebrate marketing excellence in newspapers, winning Best Newspaper Classified Campaign/Section for Road Record motoring section and Best Newspaper Digital Campaign for Glasgow 2014.

News UK won Best Newspaper Display Campaign/Section for The Times Scotland – Glasgow 2014 wraps with SSE and The Scotsman took home the fourth new award winning Best Newspaper Creative Solution/Invention Campaign for Travel Tales.
