Facebook has extended Audience Network, its advertising network, to allow more marketers to access its functionality, which includes native ads on other platforms.

The Audience Network uses the same targeting and measurement features that marketers already use when advertising on Facebook, as well as using the same imagery.

Ads provided by Audience Network sit in three categories: banner, interstitial and a native format designed to fit seamlessly within the apps they appear.

A change in the system now also means that the Audience Network now supports link ads, meaning any advertiser can use the network to drive traffic to its mobile website.

Have a look at what top industry names said when the Facebook Audience Network was first launched.
