Telefonica-owned mobile operator O2 is set to launch the latest phase of its £7m Smart Tech campaign, which aims to show how customers can get the most out of technology with the help of O2 Gurus, who offer free advice in-store and online.

Running for six weeks across TV, digital, press and outdoor, the campaign is the latest installment in O2’s Be More Dog advertising and marks the first time an integrated campaign has been run across both consumer and business.

The three individual TV ads feature O2’s cat and each ad depicts a different home or business scenario as he helps customers solve problems with their technology by bringing them an O2 Guru.

The adverts are split over three weeks and will begin on 12, 19 and 26 October.

Nina Bibby, O2’s marketing and consumer director, commented: “We want to help both business customers and consumers get the most out of their smart tech. Our new campaign aims to show them the great range of products and services available, and how they can explore the benefits of this exciting technology with the help of O2 Gurus."

The small business ad, which runs on 19 October, coincides with O2 adding cloud storage and file sharing service Box and McAfee, the virus and internet security software, to the range of existing products and services available to O2 Business customers.
