Quantcast acquires ad retargeting and personalisation firm Struq

Quantcast has acquired ad retargeting firm Struq for an undisclosed sum.

A statement from Quancast said the acquisition would result in the company becoming a “single source” for retargeting and ad personalisation with the added expertise from Struq.

Konrad Feldman, co-founder and CEO of Quantcast, said: “Our industry is only getting more complex as the shift to digital accelerates and the number of devices per consumer explodes globally.

“We’re creating a company that directly answers marketers’ demands for a strategic partner to help them navigate these changes and better prepare for the future across the full digital ad mix.”

Sam Barnett, founder and CEO of Struq added that the combination of Quantcast’s data with its ad personalisation technology would lead to a “deeper understanding of users and enable us to more effectively personalise an ad for them.”

Struq will become part of Quantcast Advertise and offices in London, New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles will combine.
