Mini is to appoint Crispin Porter & Bogusky London (CP+B) following a global creative review that began in February, with a brief that will see it tasked with the launch of the new Mini Clubman.

Three agencies are understood to have pitched to the BMW-owned car brand – Maine-based The Via Agency, CP+B and Mother.

The pitch is understood to have been handled by the brand's procurement team in Munich, Mini’s base of operations.

The car brand currently does not have an incumbent international creative agency, with the brief currently out to pitch encompassing all Mini’s global creative requirements.

However, it is unclear how long the account will be held for.

The Drum understands that CP+B is expected to be handed the account soon, but neither the agency nor Mini were able to discuss the account at this stage.
