Snack brand Love Popcorn has engaged Robot Food to create a new identity to help the brand stand out against its competition.

Launched in 2008 using only natural ingredients, the new look gives the brand a colourful ‘grown-up’ identity. Influenced by the brand’s name – a celebratory call-to-action – and the flavours, the design’s confident colour palette shouts loud and proud with a black diamond lock-up device acting as a stamp of quality.

Simon Forster, creative director at Robot Food, commented: “There’s no shortage of premium popcorn brands at the moment. But many are characterised by genteel visual identities and pale colour palettes. No brand was particularly standing out...we needed to create an identity with impact and edge.”

The packaging now features real food photography scatted to form a signature stripe across the pack emphasising the real ingredients used.
