The Daily Record is launching a new marketing campaign kicking off with an advert airing during tonight’s X Factor on STV.

The ‘Record of the Moment’ campaign, created by The Union, was designed to convey how the Daily Record communicates with readers 24 hours a day through its print product and digital services.

Murray Foote, Daily Record editor, said: “Our new campaign encapsulates the emotion of the Daily Record’s Scottish heritage but also repositions the brand as a 24/7 publisher.”

The TV ad will run until November on STV, Channel 4 and Channel 5, and the wider marketing campaign will involve outdoor, PR and social and digital activity.
