Mars CMO Bruce McColl and UK president Fiona Dawson promoted amid management shakeup

Mars’ regional president of chocolate UK and global retail, Fiona Dawson, and Bruce McColl, chief marketing officer at the company, have both been promoted in a wider management shakeup.

Dawson, who began her Mars career in sales in 1988 as a graduate trainee, will step into the new role of global president, Mars food with accountability for Mars drinks and European multisales.

Meanwhile, McColl has been made a member of the Mars leadership team, following a 22-year stint at the company that began in 1992.

Additionally, Todd Lachman, current president, Mars global petcare, has decided to leave Mars at the end of 2014 to relocate his family to San Francisco, California. As a result Poul Weihrauch, currently global president Mars food has been appointed in his place effective 1 January 2015.

In Latin America, Andrew Clarke, currently regional president petcare, will become Mars Incorporated’s new chief customer officer and a member of the Mars leadership team to drive strategic initiatives related to customers.
