Volvo Car UK and agency Mindshare, have brought back the Volvo treasure hunt campaign to celebrate the launch of the new XC90 model.

Eagle-eyed car hunters may #FindTheXC90

The #FindTheXC90 campaign will take place for three days from Thursday 25 September and will see the vehicle travel from Gothenburg in Sweden to a secret location in the UK. The car will be powered by social engagements, with the more tweets from Twitter users guessing the final location of the car, the faster it will travel.

This Saturday, the car will reach its final location, where clues will be posted through Volvo’s social media channels for those participating to find the car. The winner will be announced that day.

Further prizes will include an iPad and a GoPro Hero3 for those who miss out on the Volvo.

Car hunters can take part by following @VolvoCarUK on Twitter and by using the hashtag #FindTheXC90.

The car marque last month launched the first phase of its 'Next Generation Digital Experience' to celebrate the release of the XC90 model.
