Scottish ISIS Twitter extremist with four followers given 16-month prison sentence
A father of two from Glasgow has been sentenced to 16 months in prison over racist and obscene posts he made on Twitter.

Abdul Hafes, 35, admitted sending the series of tweets in June this year which included calls for Kurds and Shia Muslims to: “die like the jews,” as well as: “I would love to join the ISIS in Iraq how can this be possible?” alongside his personal email address.
However, at the time of writing the Tweets could still be seen on Hafes account, which has only four followers.
Commenting on the verdict, prosecutor David Harvie said: "Scotland is a wonderful diverse country, every man, woman and child has the right to live free from violence, and without fear of humiliation, harassment or abuse, based on prejudice.”
While being interviewed by police, Hafes said he could not recall making the offensive postings and blamed alcohol for his actions.
The sentence is believed to one of the longest received by a Twitter “troll” following previous offenders such as Isabella Sorley and John Nimmo, who threatened Labour MP Stella Creasy, receiving only twelve weeks in prison
