Numerically challenged CNN ridiculed on Twitter over 110% indy poll
American broadcaster CNN has been mocked on Twitter following a cock-up at its graphics department which saw a poll produced ahead of the Scottish independence referendum tot up to 110 per cent.
The improbable result arose after editors mistakenly bumped up the Yes vote from 48 to 58 per cent in a poll of polls produced by Scotcen, which put the No vote down at 52 per cent.
Viewers were left bewildered by the report as they attempted to digest how Scotland had managed to simultaneously vote for independence and the Union.
The Scots are clearly giving 110% to become independent. #ScotlandDecides pic.twitter.com/rHB8DUy1t3
