Mr Porter looks to James Dean, Frank Sinatra and Muhammad Ali in latest campaign push

Luxury men's fashion etailer Mr Porter has launched its 2014 autumn/winter campaign which features iconic images of James Dean, Frank Sinatra and Muhammad Ali carrying the brand's monochrome bags.

Featuring the tag line 'Very Mr Porter', the campaign aims to highlight Mr Porter’s positioning as a global style influencer.

The campaign will include digital and print advertising in key markets and will be supported by a dedicated feature in the brand's content platform - the Mr Porter Journal - along with a social media campaign across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

“We are pleased to launch this season’s campaign ‘Very Mr Porter’ as it underscores our position as a global authority on men’s style,’ said Mr Porter managing director Ian Tansley.

"We have been fortunate to work with the estates of three timeless style icons which align with the Mr Porter brand."

Mr Porter has also developed a separate online campaign creative to promote new product and categories as they launch week on week.

New products will be uploaded every Tuesday, and will include categories such as sports, grooming, home and tech.

The online campaign will reflect each week’s launches and will adapt throughout the season to showcase the product offering and new brand launches.

Yesterday the brand told The Drum is was eyeing future wearable tech retail opportinities, having become the exclusive third-party retailer of Google Glass.
