Macmillan Cancer Support has appointed digital creative agency The Minimart to join the charity’s roster of digital agencies and to develop digital creative to build on the charity’s integrated Not Alone campaign strategy.

Having previously worked on a number of successful digital projects with the charity’s fundraising team, The Minimart will now aim to engage an online audience and connect with them on an emotional level to get Macmillan’s message across.

Ed Chilcott, founding creative partner, said that as the number of people living with cancer continues to rise, it will “become harder and harder” for Macmillan to offer the necessary support to everyone who needs it.

“There needs to be a movement to inspire people to be more proactive in how they give their support, he commented. “Macmillan is right at the front of this movement and we’re delighted to be working with them again.”

The Not Alone campaign aims to combat feelings of isolation and loneliness that many cancer sufferers experience.
