Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam announces new hires including new creative director and two new creative teams

Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam has extended its interactive, creative and planning departments with nine new hires including a new head of interactive production, creative director and two new creative teams.

Kelsie van Deman joins W+K Amsterdam Interactive Production following five years in San Francisco with Pereira & O’Dell. Sean Condon joins the agency as creative director bringing more than 20 years’ worth of experience to the role having worked on brands such as BMW, Mini, Adidas, Nike and Heineken in the past.

Two new creative teams have also joined the agency roster with French duo Partika and Edouard Olhagaray moving over from Sid Lee Amsterdam and BBH London’s Szymon Rose and Daniel Schaefer set to move in October.

Californian native Josh Chang becomes integrated communications planner at W+K Amsterdam after eight years working at W+K Portland. The role sees him tasked with ensuring the agency’s creative stories are being told in the best way.

Emma Wiseman also rejoins the W+K fold after a stint at 180 Amsterdam. Previously of W+K London, Wiseman will head up planning on the Booking.com account. Rose Zandvliet has also moved from DDB & Tribal Amsterdam to W+K Amsterdam after four years to take on the role of PR manager.

MD Clay Mills said the raft of appointments will continue to “diversify and enhance” the agency allowing it to develop “best in class creative work”.
