Former News of the World executives face trial over new phone-hacking allegations
Former News of the World deputy editor Neil Wallis and ex-features editor Jules Stenson were told today that they should expect to go on trial next June over charges of conspiracy to illegally intercept voicemail communications.

The case follows on from the conviction of former editor Andy Coulson and five others who were found guilty of working with a private detective, Glenn Mulcaire, to hack into thousands of mobile phone voicemails between 2002 and 2006.
Rebekah Brooks, another former editor of the, now defunct, Sunday tabloid was found not guilty on the same charge.
Wallis did not attend the hearing and Stenson spoke only to confirm his name and address. Neither of the defendants entered a plea or declaration.
The trial is expected to take between four and six weeks.
