Are we alone in thinking the anniversary of the start of World War I has been badly mishandled? Perhaps it's because the events marking the centenary began in January - but there doesn't seem to have been the right level of gravitas in most of the coverage. This film for the Royal British legion offers a glimpse of how it ought to have been done. Infused with a dignified sombreness, it reminds us of the human tragedy that started to unfold a hundred years ago.
