Task Consumer Products launches 'luxury, value for money' toilet paper and kitchen roll range

Task Consumer Products, a small family-owned business operating in the Midlands, has worked with Sun Branding Solutions – Creative on the design and branding of its new line of toilet paper and kitchen roll.

The new range, consisting of two toilet rolls, Little Duck Luxe and Little Duck So Soft, and a the Little Duck kitchen roll, has been designed and named with a sense of unity in mind. The Little Duck Luxe, So Soft and Ultra product names have been developed to emphasise softness and luxury, whilst still encompassing value for money. Jumbo and Monster brands of kitchen roll have also been developed focusing more on their toughness and absorbency.

Nikul Patel, business development manager of Task Consumer, commented: “With the introduction of new printing machinery, we’re now able to create a product of a higher quality than ever before. We therefore wanted to develop a brand that represents both quality and value...Sun Branding Solutions was the perfect partner to help us develop a unified product line that delivers our message of quality combined with value for money.”

Kate Fischer, senior account manager at Sun Branding Solutions – Creative, added: “The challenge set out by Task Consumer was to create a unique product in a saturated market. One challenge in particular was achieving the soft look on flexographic film. After consulting with our own print specialists at Sun Branding Solutions - Graphics, we were able to create a perfectly soft finish to the packaging. The Little Duck character is primed to take on the other icons of the toilet paper sector.”

The brand is rolling out across several stores in the UK throughout the summer.
