The Telegraph is to rebrand its print Motoring supplement as ‘Cars’ next month following the March launch of its digital Cars channel, which provides reviews, advice and other editorial for readers searching for a new car.

The move will bring all of Telegraph Media Group’s auto products together under one brand.

Steve Huntingford who joined TMG as editor of Cars after nine years at WhatCar? said: “Following the introduction of our consumer-focused car reviews site and new Facebook page, and with the launch of a Telegraph Cars YouTube channel imminent, we felt it was important to bring everything under one brand.”

Erin Baker, managing director of Cars at TMG, added: “Relaunching all our offerings under one name will give our readers and clients clarity, consistency and familiarity with the brand.”

The rebrand takes effect from 6 September.
