Scottish Power has appointed Rapp to handle its UK domestic and small and medium enterprises (SME) direct marketing account.

The win adds the domestic direct marketing account to the SME business Rapp already works on, and will see the agency work across direct response integrated channels.

Marco Scognamiglio, CEO of Rapp UK, said: “We are delighted that Scottish Power has chosen to move its domestic direct marketing account into RAPP. The company’s ambitions to understand their customers’ experience and ensure that all their touchpoints are interconntected is incredibly exciting for us.”

Scottish Power had been looking for a direct marketing agency to support its position as a top-six energy supplier in the UK.

Of the appointment, James Paterson, UK marketing director at Scottish Power, said: “The changing landscape of the industry requires an improved customer centric approach to marketing. Rapp’s understanding of our market, and our consumers across both domestic and SME businesses is exactly the expertise we need.”
