With the idea of making a house a home in mind, Ikea hypnotised a couple into believing a bedroom in store was that of their future daughter, in a promotion for its new catalogue.

Having hired hypnotist Justin Tranz, an Ikea store was turned into a stage for the experiment.

The couple believed that the actress was their young daughter on her birthday (not noticing the Ikea tags on all the items of furniture) and then again as a teenager wanting to take a gap year.

The release of the films supports the global launch of the new Ikea catalogue and this year’s theme - Where The Everyday Begins & Ends.
