Brown-Forman, owner of brands such as Southern Comfort and Jack Daniels, is set to review its media account, currently held by IPG Mediabrands agency UM.

The company, which is estimated by Kantar to spend $100m on media a year global, said that the process was part of due diligence and that it will be completed by the end of the year.

It added that it needed to be up-to-date with its current media requirements.

Universal McCann will take part in the pitch, Brown-Forman confirmed.
