Claims company National Accident Helpline has partnered with broadcaster and nutritionist Amanda Hamilton to offer eating tips as part of its ‘eat for recovery’ campaign.

Launching today (15 August), the campaign is designed to help injury or illness sufferers’ recovery and will include a dedicated page on the National Accident Helpline website. The page will host 13 specially created recipes, grouped into breakfasts, lunches and dinners, alongside top tips for recovery and video tutorials featuring Hamilton.

Russell Atkinson, chief executive officer of National Accident Helpline, said: “Our priority is to help personal injury sufferers get back on their feet after an injury. Going to court and being faced with reliving your accident can be stressful, and we are there to help, but it’s also vital that people take care of themselves.

“Good, healthy and hearty food plays an important part in this. We feel this initiative will provide useful advice for the thousands of personal injury sufferers who face putting their lives back together following an accident or injury that wasn’t their fault.”

Hamilton, who previously presented Something for the Weekend and regularly appears on flagship shows on both the BBC and ITV, said the campaign aims to provide “accessible advice” to those who need it.
