Panasonic creates TV rewind website to showcase most tweeted shows of past year

Panasonic has this week launched its brand new TVrewind website – a showcase of the most tweeted about TV programmes of the last 12 months.

The microsite, designed by Catalysis, uses data visualisation to illustrate the most unmissable moments on TV, such as the last season of Great British Bake Off and the Brit Awards.

Craig Cunningham, TV expert at Panasonic, commented: “We all love to talk about TV. These days, rather than gathering around the water cooler to discuss the latest hit show, we’re gathering around TV show hashtags to discuss the dramas as they unfold online.

“This microsite was designed to promote our latest range of Viera TVs with Freetime built-in.”

Research from YouView found that one in seven get TV recommendations from social media.
