Video discovery company iLoveVideo has appointed Tom Flack as chief marketing officer, as well as head of its European operations.

Previously managing editor at the Huffington Post, Flack was responsible for audience development, product management, user experience and commercial strategy on the HuffPo’s UK site, as well as AOL UK’s Money, Travel, Parenting, Style, Cars and Sport channels.

His new role will see him in charge of growing the global audience of iLoveVideo.tv, developing content and strategic partnerships, and shaping the identity of the iLoveVideo.tv brand with consumers worldwide.

Of his appointment, Flack said: “iLoveVideo.tv is perfectly positioned at the intersection of two mega-trends: a dramatic increase in consumer consumption of online video, and automated editorial curation underpinned by data and insight.

"Understanding viewers’ interests and intent, and then recommending relevant, personalized content that aligns with these criteria, is the key to maximizing engagement and monetization. I’m focused on establishing iLoveVideo.tv as the go-to destination for people who long for non-stop entertainment from a mix of great content producers.”

Flack has now taken up his role.
