Nottingham Building Society has agreed a six-figure deal for a 16-month sponsorship of Gem 106’s Sam & Amy breakfast show.

Deal: The Sam & Amy Show

The sponsorship for the Midlands radio station, which is run by Orion Media, launches later this month.

Simon Taylor, chief operating officer at Nottingham Building Society, said: “Over the last two years, we’ve really grown to value the way in which Gem 106 can integrate our messages within its programming.

“This new opportunity will increase awareness of our brand and promote the range of business services we offer from mortgages to insurance through to our community projects.”

Adrian Serle, Orion Media commercial director, added: “We’re proud to be working with the Nottingham Building Society as it’s a fitting brand for a show which has enjoyed its most successful year ever, receiving national acclaim and audience recognition.”

Orion Media’s national ad sales have been managed by Bauer Media since July. It was previously handled by Global Radio.
